Thank You for Continuing to Check-In

There are those of you that check in every day or week to see if I've written anything new. I guess I've disappointed you because I have not. This legislative session and anticipating the size of the subsequent LSU budget cut really wore me out. It's not the fault of the legislature or anyone else for that matter. The same thing could happen if I was working for a company that was downsizing, as many have in this economy. I have just been too exhausted from the 'waiting' to be creative.

This is my fault. I will not waste my time behaving in this way again. There is something to be said for having the wisdom to suspend your emotional self until life works out the way it is supposed to. I am 50 I should know that by now.

My life's work is equanimity. What's yours?

I am leaving tomorrow for the West and I am hoping that this rejuvenates me so that I start writing again.

Exciting things are planned on this trip and I can't wait to be infused with energy.

Hopefully I'll be blogging. I'm taking my camera.
